Process Cooling Chillers

Thermonics® offers a range of process chillers for low (-40°C) and ultra-low (-100°C) temperature cooling. Products include air- and water-cooled chillers, and cryogenic chillers for cooling gasses and fluids. Chillers are compatible with a variety of heat transfer fluids delivering cooling capacities up to 25kW at -90°C, satisfying demands for industrial and mil/aero applications.

This is due to heat rejection at or near the air’s wet-bulb temperature rather than the higher, sometimes much higher, dry-bulb temperature. Evaporatively cooled chillers offer higher efficiencies than air-cooled chillers but lower than water-cooled chillers. These cooling coils transfer sensible heat and latent heat from the air to the chilled water, thus cooling and usually dehumidifying the air stream. Chilled water temperatures can range from 1 to 7 °C (34 to 45 °F), depending upon application requirements.

The most compelling reason for a chiller is the protection it provides your valuable processing equipment—such as spot welders, injection molding equipment and other applications. A chiller commonly represents a small fraction of the cost of the processing equipment, yet it provides solid protection of your investment, 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week for years and years to come. The chiller will provide a stable temperature, flow and pressure once it has been programmed by a user for their individual needs. In a primary-secondary system, two sets of pumps are used, each with a dedicated function to the chilled water system. The primary pumps serve as production pumps and serve only the chillers in the system. These pumps are typically high-flow, low-head constant-flow pumps staged on with a chiller to provide available chilled water to the secondary pumps.

It has a strong R&D base and invests significantly in new product development activities. Every dairy and food production factory has a different situation, but they all need chillers on-site. We produce glycol chillers specifically for the food and dairy industry.

The exterior panel adopts the form of quick disassembly and installation, which is convenient for use and maintenance. A Chiller is a mechanical refrigeration device that cools a fluid, usually water.

We can tailor our industrial chillers to meet virtually any budget and industrial need. These items can also be customized with only the features you want, saving you from overspending on a more advanced model than you need. While we have in-stock items available, our industrial chillers are entirely customizable.

By introducing the TCX range of industrial chillers, we are giving customers a fantastic opportunity to complete their efficiency package. The TCX series is your plug and play industrial chillers solution, with simple service, reliability, and efficiency guaranteed. The innovative, familiar Elektronikon® MkV Touchcontroller comes as standard , putting control right at your fingertips;SMARTLINK 24/7 remote monitoring is also available as part of the total package. The TCX range can also be covered on a single-service contract with all other Atlas Copco mechanical equipment, including air compressors, dryers, nitrogen generation systems and low-pressure blowers. Our commercial units over 200 tons are field certified by Intertek for ETL UL compliance.

We specialize in customer service and are dedicated to helping each customer have the optimal air or water chiller system for their specific need. Advantage manufacturers industrial chillers that provide value and features that may not be available from Commercial HVAC chiller manufactures. Some Commercial HVAC chiller manufacturers offer features that are a standard on industrial chillers but are offered only as an optional add on to their products and at a significantly increased cost.
